What we help with

Depression therapy for heavy, stuck days

If everything feels flat, heavy, or harder than it should, we’ll take time with that. We listen for how depression is affecting your energy, your relationships, and the parts of life that have started to shrink.

What people bring us

People often come in feeling drained, foggy, or disconnected from the life they used to have. Some say ordinary tasks feel huge, and even getting through a day can take more out of them than anyone else sees. It can affect sleep, motivation, appetite, and the ability to care about things that used to matter. For many people, the hardest part is feeling stuck in it and unsure how to get traction again.

  • I just don’t have the energy I used to.
  • I’m going through the motions and that’s about it.
  • Small things feel like a huge effort.
  • I don’t feel interested in much of anything lately.

We move at a pace that works for you.

How we work with it

We work in a way that keeps depression connected to your body, your relationships, and the pressures around you. That may include individual therapy, trauma-informed processing, or group support if being with others feels useful. We pay attention to nervous system regulation because depression can live alongside shutdown, exhaustion, or numbness. The work is practical and relational, and we stay with what feels heavy without rushing past it.

Individual Therapy
In one-on-one sessions, we look at what’s weighing on you and what parts of life have gone quiet. The work stays focused on your experience, not on forcing a particular pace.
Workshops and Groups
Some people feel less isolated when they can talk and learn alongside others. Groups can create a place to notice patterns, share language, and hear from people with similar struggles.

What the first sessions look like

The first sessions are about understanding what this has been like day to day and what feels most difficult right now. We’ll talk about what support looks like for you, and you won’t need to have a polished explanation ready.

Questions people ask

Why do I feel so numb and exhausted all the time?

People often come in with that exact feeling, especially when depression has been going on for a while. We’ll look at how it’s showing up for you and what seems to drain you most.

Can talking help when I can barely get moving?

Yes, because the work isn’t about talking yourself into being different. We pay attention to what’s happening in your body and your life, and we build from there.

What if I don’t have the words for how bad it feels?

That’s okay. We can start with simple, concrete pieces of your day and go from there.

Do you only do one-on-one therapy for depression?

No. We also offer workshops and groups, which can be a good fit for some people depending on what kind of support they want.
