How the work goes

Workshops and Groups for community healing and learning

We offer small facilitated groups and workshops for people who want to learn, reflect, and connect with others around shared concerns. These offerings are open to members and the community, and they are shaped around body awareness, relational safety, and choice.

How we use it

These offerings are small and facilitated, so conversation can happen without turning into a lecture. We pay attention to pacing, group safety, and how people relate to one another in the room. Some groups are single sessions, while others meet more than once, and the format depends on the topic rather than expecting everyone to show up the same way.

Learning together can help with what is hard to carry alone.

Who it tends to suit

People often come looking for mental health support that feels less private and more connected. Some want a place to learn about mindfulness, nervous system regulation, or relational healing with other people in the room. Others are curious about community therapy but aren't ready for one-on-one work. Many are looking for a group that stays grounded, practical, and human.

  • I want support that includes other people.
  • I do better when I can learn with a group.
  • I'm looking for a mindfulness workshop.
  • I want help that feels less isolated.

What the first sessions look like

The first conversation usually focuses on which workshop or group fits what you're looking for and what kind of participation feels comfortable. We talk about the topic, the size and rhythm of the group, and anything you want us to know before joining. You can decide as you go how much you'll share.

Questions people ask

What kinds of workshops do you offer?

We offer workshops on topics like mindfulness, nervous system regulation, intuitive eating, hormone health, and relational healing. The exact topic changes, but the format is always small and facilitated.

Are groups only for current clients?

No, some groups and workshops are open to members and the community. The best fit depends on the specific offering.

What if I'm nervous about sharing in a group?

That comes up a lot, and you can decide as you go how much you'll say. We pay attention to pacing so people can participate without being pushed.

Can a workshop be a first step into therapy?

Yes, for some people it is. A workshop can be a way to see how we work and whether this kind of support feels right for you.
